👍I guess you need to consider how much traffic you expect or want to be able to handle. Not for everyone, but I have a static site (get only) on AWS for around £1 a month. Not as much fun as self hosting though :-)

Great night time shot. I'm easing my way into low light photography at the moment and shots like this push me on to improve; its an amazing source of controllable light and mood.

If the hardware is at home, residential internet has slow upload speeds and dynamic IPs (fixable with DDNS), ISPs may block web ports, no uptime during power/internet outages, and you expose your home network to security risks. Reverse tunnel solutions solve some of this, or go with co-location.
