First day of law school down! So much different from undergraduate. Rather than “spending all my time reading niche non-classical logic theorems instead of doing my actual logic hw,” I’m now “reading about IMF conditionality and Coasian bargaining in Torts instead of doing my actual torts hw”

one of the remarkable things about the increase in raids at courthouses, schools etc by ICE is how shortsighted it is. We want people - all people! - to send their kids to school and pick them up safely, to attend and obey their court appointments, etc. Putting a chill on those activities is madness

This was my classmate. He was a student in my ethics class, and we used to sit next to each other. Most dedicated person in the class to legitimate justice for all people. He legitimately cared. I am so horribly heartbroken
