These ones especially are a bit crazy. Cas is such a big figure and he is essentially selling existing characters. Thank god nothing bad happened but Jesus this stuff was seriously flying way too close to the sun.

naw I totally get that. I haven’t seen much myself but honestly I think some people are overly risking it for themselves too. A PvZ2 mod called Alternate Universez planned to make a plush of their own but not for profit as far as I remember. It didn’t go through but it would’ve been a crazy lawsuit.

pretty sure the toon town characters happened cause both games managed to handle it easily. Corporate clash never got a penny, all for charity; and rewritten also just has contact with a lot of the original devs so they know their limits. Unless more unrelated ones happened recently, so idk.
