After leaving Barnstaple at 11:30 on a train. I just got back to my place in Retford at 18:50!
That was over 7 hours travel....... Which ended on a 20 to 30 mimute walk back from the local station.... I'm fucked!

I agree gen AI is shit in many respects. But as the CEO has said. Its only been used in the very earliest stages of basic block concepting.

Got to the bottom of the stm32 problem. Turned out the wrong variant of the same chip was installed a BOM error. Same model number with Q on the end. The main different the Q has an internal vreg. And swaps one of the GND pins to VDD... Shorted itself to ground there :(

Oh joy full on work panic attack now, We im going down to the office on sunday (in devon) and I just recelved the new major project pcb, and instantly its broken. The STM32 is shorting direct to ground. I must have introduced a error in the design on this, what was meant to be the final

But... at 22 quid +5 quid shipping per mug... I cant justify it D:
