No I agree. I'd probably slot him in as our #2 SP too.

Not to rain on others parades. But no. Projected war of 11.7. Os at 13.8. TOR at 9.5 before their SS is even figured out. KC at 13.2. I'm sure I can find more if I look but honestly probably not even a top 5 infield. Good chance of top 10 though.

So this is where I'm admitting that I think Pivetta is overrated. And while yes Peralta trade has the same problems as Pivetta I think Peralta is just better. But above all I'd prefer a FA over a trade is mostly my point. Gimme Framber or Suarez > Peralta > Pivetta > nothing.

If he's a last resort then maybe. I guess I'm just not as sold on him as most? I think he's good but I also think he'll regress from last year. And above all I don't think we have enough pitching pipeline. We need a long term controllable starter. And if we are going to trade I'd rather Peralta

This is IX slander.

Who do you predict to land Imai?
December 31, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Holy shit he's finally underwater with white people???? And Democrats will still spend 6 months workshopping responses with out of touch consultants just to capitulate on everything and say "we tried really hard"
December 23, 2025 at 2:55 PM
Given that have you changed your mind on Framber over Imai as a better win now option instead of better overall contract?

Sorry, those are great, but those are #2 & #3. Plight before Christmas takes the cake. Gene's concert playing over a sincere Louise poem just goes too hard.

Welcome back to the waking world! I hope your recovery is as easy as possible from here on out and get ready to see Alonso dong for us next year!!!!
December 11, 2025 at 2:16 PM
I keep waiting to see her excitement.
December 10, 2025 at 11:20 PM
THAT'S FUTURE PROBLEM. TODAY WE HAVE BIG MAN HIT HARD COMING TO BALTIMORE AND I WILL NOT BE SADDENED BY IT
December 10, 2025 at 6:05 PM
Upside. Is it more of a gamble? Absolutely. But breakout years are where playoffs are won. You need people who overperform and can carry a team to new heights. Yeah it means you also get shit years that feel bad for payroll, but give me a WS and a 60 win season over 2 flameouts in the WC round.
December 10, 2025 at 5:46 PM
Do....do I start to get hopeful for this?? I absolutely know that I always like to fantasize about unobtainable rosters. But... Mayo to OF and signing Alonso.... Does this feel actually possible or am I crazy?

Also if we're going to actually talk about the worst bread, your original statement is wrong because it would place pane toscano above sourdough. Pane toscano does not belong above any bread.
December 7, 2025 at 2:28 PM
I know I'm not going to change anyone's mind, but also it's more that sourdough is just overrated. It's the *perfect* bread for certain situations, but it is not a good bread for *all* situations. Despite that a lot of people try to use it everywhere and it sucks when it's used at the wrong time.

Yeah caffeine naps are amazing. There should legit be an undergrad class devoted to teaching about them.
December 3, 2025 at 1:54 AM
To me *this* is the real argument against it. I won't oppose a rule because it hurts the O's, but I will if it hurts baseball. Again not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm just a fan of the rule but that doesn't mean it isn't without fault.
