This is capitalism for me:
System of work and saving where individuals invest effort and resources today, postponing immediate consumption, in order to accumulate capital. That accumulated capital is then used to improve productivity, generate greater returns, and secure a more comfortable future.

There are no truly “good politicians” on the left or the right. Their main goal is to stay in power and expand it. No politician really makes the rich pay more. The wealthy always find ways to use tax havens. In reality, most tax revenue comes from sales taxes, which affect the poor the most.

Because the US healthcare system (healthcare business) is completely controlled and manipulated by the government. Basically, a nationwide mafia. It has all the disadvantages of both a private and public system, and none of the advantages of both.
Real capitalism has nothing to do it.

Who is they? I guess you are referring to the goverment. In that case I agree they want us to to be poor to be controlled. That is the principle of communism and socialism: Let me control every aspect of your life so you are poor and I stay in power.

Good book. A very powerful book written by a person from a wealthy family who would have had nothing if it weren't for capitalist society.
