Basically the world leaders have all said it’s up to Venezuelans to lead the transition, NOT the US. His focus on the oil seems to questions the intent as well. Clearly there’s something bigger he’s after that will likely make him and friends richer.

MMaybe Venezuela should be deciding next steps. Gonzalez should be part of this with their people, not Trump saying he’s running things whatever that bs means. America is a human rights dumpster fire right now so the last thing they need is Trump.

So his VP expanded his powers a few years ago and gets rewarded with leadership positions as well as her brother. Sounds familiar. Yes Maduro is bad, but Trump disregarding basic laws to do what he wants is no better. That’s a dictator. His ‘war on drugs’ card is growing old.

Congress hasn’t done anything about his unauthorized activities so far, so he likely will yet again get away with doing what he wants. America also has a dictator it seem.

Wish there was a reality we could see both compete just to see. Unreal scheifele wasn’t on roster as well as Bennett and Bédard over some of these choices. Still would love to see Sid get one more gold though.
