Idag är Sveriges utrikesminister i Kina för samtal. Hon bör kräva att Gui Minhai, som hållits i 10 år, frisläpps omedelbart. Mänskliga rättigheter sägs vara en hörnsten i svensk utrikespolitik, då måste de vara det även i dagens samtal.

Israeli military forces caused deaths and unnecessary suffering of Palestinian patients while occupying hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the current hostilities, amounting to war crimes. Those responsible, including senior Israeli officials, should be held to account.

Azerbaijani opposition leader Tofig Yagublu convicted on bogus charges, as the government again uses the criminal justice system to retaliate against its critics.

Azerbaijan should immediately free Yagublu and all other unjustly imprisoned journalists and activists.
