I think it's most likely because of the Bowsette trend, where people would draw Bowser as a conventionally attractive human woman.

I think another part of it is that I see a lot of transformations as kinda sad and lonely. yeah, you're a cool wolf now, but nobody else looks anything like you, nobody knows what it's like to be a wolf... but in this scenario, there are tons of other tf-ees in your exact situation. it's nice.

epidemic/disease. the inevitability of it, the knowledge that you'll become (or already were) another vector of transmission, the hundreds or thousands or even millions of other people experiencing the same transformation, people changing out in the streets as everyone watches...

Merge, CTF and UDTF all unsettle and interest me in equal amounts, but if I had to pick one it would be Merge. I have mixed feelings on Inanimate, I don't like TFTG or AR/AP, and I have no idea what Split TF is (I get the idea, but the question of how you would execute that eludes me).
