This is not a 55% tax hike. It is a fraction of 1% increase in the county’s portion of overall property tax in Davis county. Sensationalist and misleading headline. Still good to debate the merits, just keep in mind that no one is going to see a 55% tax rate increase.

I live in Virginia now and Verizon FIOS really is the only option for decent internet. You’re absolutely right. I still miss Utopia though.
