Agreed, racial nonsense, apart from the "over-promoted prick get rid of him" line. This pretty much hits the nail on the head (and could apply to many from both this and previous governments). Sadly, for the most part, competent people no longer enter politics.

I cant help but think that, with the rumours swirling around at the time about Uncle Louis, the use of the Mountbatten name is highly appropriate.

Finally the famous Mosquito together with a couple of TI bombs. I had never noticed these before, because they were basically flares I always thought they would be small. I was wrong. 7/7

The Lancaster, I love this example, S-Sugar is one of the earliest aircraft I can remember seeing. But wy does nobody ever talk about it?? :) 6/7

Now the Halifax, for years I thought this should be restored, but I have changed my mind. To do so would lose too much of the original structure and take away its relevance. 3/7

Yes, I guess it takes time. I think they were always going to as the first one up was the RAF Ensign apparently. Thought provoking with was the intention of the talk.
