Oh no (Read alt for story)
As the platoon goes inside the temple, after days of travel, they find they are inside a maze of golden statues and very similar walls, leads to Taylor finding the creature first and failing the encounter immediately. The Naga blinds him with a bright golden light and all a sudden he is unable to move his lower body scared and terrified he thinks he’ll die, but the snake slithered towards him and tells him to stay there and wait and that if he yells for help he’ll have to put him down. Taylor not really here looking to die and anger the Protector anymore than this stays quiet terrified and unable to move. It is later how he heard his other members of the platoon face the Snake. Taking on the fact the last thing he heard was a yell cut short that didn’t go in their favor. Now Taylor stands there waiting to most likely face death.

Training didn’t last longer than a few days to a month, to be honest they just needed these soldiers fast disregarding any advanced training. The Covens lacking magical troops, tech and soldiers have been slowly losing power and being merged into the Imperial State by force slowly. But that’s not important now,Taylor is sent out with his platoon to find a magical beast known as Medusa to either capture or recruit to their side. The locals and Taylor know this is to be a bad idea but the commander and the nation itself believes magic is nothing more than a different caliber of bullet, they have no idea how wrong they are. Additionally Taylor likes the water, he thinks it’s cold but the good kind of cold, at least he’s having fun

Target Practice
After being taken by the military of Coven,he’s one of the few recruits coming from Porto Sól, a small island near the mainland. Many ran away and others were forced. Taylor was just unlucky to being the first they got and he wasn’t going to dispute with the officers that grabbed him he had no experience doing that. In the end he was sent here to a camp in that same island to train, at least he’s great at shooting

In the morning after waking up from sleeping, a truck came by Taylor’s home,It was the Coven a nation who’s losing the war terribly and have only claimed the island recently. Make Citizens of ages of 18 and up are being drafted immediately to throw bodies to the grinder.
