I’m done keeping it a secret! My big project of the year is a life-size green sea turtle bust whom I’ve affectionately named “Salsa Verde”

So far I’ve finished sculpting and molding, and still have another flipper to cast before all casting is done. So thrilled with it!!

There is another rescue local to us that is shutting down and we could really use some fosters- looking for people within reasonable driving distance of Suisun City, CA (must be willing to travel to Vacaville for vet appointments) all supplies will be be covered.

This is an emergency situation and the cats need to be placed ASAP. @rocketcatrescue.bsky.social is willing to take some of the special needs cats but we need fosters for either them or some of the existing cats in our program.

Got all ready to mold my big project just to find out that not only do I not have enough ultracal, but what I do have is all grainy and unusable :(

Everything else I make I can do outside of my room so it’s been a lot easier to focus on those projects (mounts, plush keychains) without wondering if I’m going to pass out from the heat lol.
