Local School Board Elections Matter.
Paul “Biff” Hansen, a current member of the MPSD School Board, has filed candidacy papers to seek re-election to the MPSD School Board. Fellow incumbent Christopher Able also declared his candidacy for the Spring Election. Best of luck to both Biff and Chris!

Why do some people use the phrase “Happy Holidays”? December is celebrated by many different religions and cultures—Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, African American, pagan, and more. Using “Happy Holidays” acknowledges this diversity and helps everyone feel included and respected.

To everyone who helped make yesterday's Free Thanksgiving Dinners a success. Whether you donated food, money or time, it is appreciated. It feels good living in a community where so many people seem to care about others and want to help out. All in all we were able to serve around 280 meals.

Thank you to all our Manitowoc Co. Democratic Party members and friends who generously contributed to Susie Kay’s Café FREE Thanksgiving Day Dinner. Together, we raised over $500 in cash donations, all of which was given directly to Susie Kay’s Café to support their wonderful community meal.

The Manitowoc County Democratic Party front window features a festive holiday display that brings a cheerful view to visitors and passersby. Be sure to include it on your downtown drive-by holiday light tour.

This Veterans Day (Tues. Nov. 11) rallies and protests are happening nationwide — because veterans swore an oath to the Constitution, not to a dictator who dreams of being a king. Invading our cities and starving our people is WRONG.
