Well, yes - and no. Because there are still ways that free users also can still use Grok for mass sexualized harassment. They just can't use the prompt "@grok" anymore for that. And still, X is trying to make money from it.

But it's not just Musk. Why is Grok on the Apple and Google app stores? Why is it on Microsoft Azure's Foundry as a highlighted model? And beyond that, why are we still lacking basic guardrails on nonconsensual image generation in 2026?
