With prompts and supplying your own texts that’s an impossible thing for anyone to subtly control. You’d have to ban the text input and you’d have to control the context.

It not about questioning expertise—it’s about how it’s presented. If these experts are so essential, why frame it like a secret club instead of a public service? Public health needs trust, not just credentials.

Cutting a public health program like this is horrific. But labeling it as ‘ultra-competitive’ and for ‘the best of the best’ makes medicine seem exclusive and alienating to the public. This fuels MAGA.
Messaging on public health should emphasize accessibility and service rather than exclusivity.
