Through ROS2 integration and a custom retargeting layer, each finger movement translates seamlessly from glove to robotic hand, enabling natural teleoperation and precise manipulation.

In testing, the system successfully performed complex in-hand manipulation tasks, demonstrating a new benchmark for intuitive teleoperation and data fidelity in #robotics research. Check out the full study.

Using this setup, operators could intuitively control both the robotic arm and hand, achieving biomimetic dexterity and capturing high-quality motion data for imitation learning.

The team developed an advanced hand-arm system, combining:

• A 20-DoF anthropomorphic robotic hand for humanlike precision
• A FRANKA Robotics FR3 arm
• MANUS Quantum Metagloves for real-time, high-resolution hand tracking

His advice to other entrepreneurs: choose the right protection tools for the right goals, and remember that getting a patent is just the start — maintaining it, choosing regions, and enforcing it are ongoing commitments.
