Thought we played really well today. Quite like rice at RB but he can play just about a position and be amazing. Their goal had a few lucky bounces too.

For me I thought we were very bad against Wolves and Everton. we had 2 own goals and for Everton just a pen while they should have had one. Lucky to have won both of those. Not convincing performances at all. And what Arteta did with White was a mistake. Things feel disjointed atm.

We’ve had some of our worst performances since he came back into the team. Which isn’t something you want to see from your captain. Although I don’t think he is the issue. I’m assuming that’s the connection people are making.

He got that back 4 so wrong. Why even start white again. Bring in MLS to get minutes. Instead we opt to play saliba and timber out of position while risking white who isn’t up to full fitness. I just can’t wrap my mind around it.

Can we please discuss how we only looked good for the 10-15 after halftime. White seems to have forgotten how to play defense. Odegaard was the only one who looked decent. Saka has yet to hit a superstar level this season. We need him carry games when we have injuries. We’ve seen rice do it.

Our last action has again been awful. None of these shots have looked dangerous and we’ve been so slow in moments that could have led to something. We don’t know what we want to do when we attack.

The amount of turnovers merino and saka keep producing is alarming. We seriously look like we have no plan for how we want to attack.

I haven’t seen us play this bad in awhile. Lost about every 50/50. Burnout from spurs/bayern maybe.

I think there is a level of competitiveness and intensity that arteta has instilled in these players. I think they take this with them on international duty. We need to learn to not go 100% all the time? This is getting crazy.

I’m fine with Merino being a sub that can crash the box or help control a game. But no reason we needed to start with that midfield at home. I also have never seen rice at his best when playing with merino in midfield.

I’ve been critical of him but that was great. Then rice holds on too long. We can’t seem to do more than 1 good thing in sequence.

I honestly can’t stand merino in midfield. He is fine as the last action in the box but every time he touches the ball or tries one touch passing it’s off. He consistently gets the ball stuck in his feet and goes backwards. Ruins any momentum. Also as a team any last action is really really poor so

So many mistakes. Once gabi is beat he needs to foul Haaland. Just take the yellow. Then saliba needs to just commit to guarding the run instead of the ball carrier. Also don’t need both midfielders surrounding Haaland when gabi steps up. Still don’t like this midfield 3 together.
