Secondly, it required 12 GOP senators to embrace ACA extension to solve this problem. Can you name more than a handful that would have done so? Democrats needed to define the end-game and it certainly wasn’t the ability to bring 12 Republicans to their side.

Return to a Democratic proposal to extend ACA funding. Did you notice that President Trump‘s faded healthcare proposal also included, extending the ACA funding for two years? Republicans will get crushed if they fail to do so You call this a defeat? Dems need to stay on message and stop in-fighting.
