Heroin addiction can be caused by a combination of genetic, environmental, and psychological factors. Genetics play a significant role, as individuals with a family history of addiction are more likely to develop an addiction themselves.

I picked this up in a discussion using my personal account. Despite the horrific way our government has treated Canada they are still willing to help our citizens.

Can Addiction Be Prevented?

While not all cases of addiction can be prevented, there are effective strategies that can significantly reduce the risk. Education and awareness programs that start in early childhood increase knowledge about the risks of drug use and addiction.
