I started with Rogue Trader and a couple of squads of Eldar. The rules were insanely awful. I've played few army scale wargames over the years and 40k is just terrible. I've also seen how the sausage is made with regard to rules at GW and... yeah, they don't really care.

I think l the reasons the collecting and painting and books and lore are such a fundamental part of 40k fandom is that the game is utter balls. I mean it’s a really, really bad wargame.

The best thing about checking clearsky isn’t finding out who blocks you, it’s finding out you’re on someone’s list of personal favourites they want to keep track of. Love to be part of making this place enjoyable for someone.
