Maybe some would say you are "on the spectrum". I'd say you dive deep. Perhaps your original rechargeable battery was exposed to high heat causing rapid chemical reactions within the battery which increased the resistance and led to an inability to hold a charge. Me? I'd return the new recorder.

Fantastic! Well said! Labels divide and discard us. We need to unite and find ways to use our strengths! We all have different nuances in the way we perceive and process information and we need to listen to each other because it expands our understanding of the world. Keep posting!
