In a crucial ENVI committee vote this evening, the S&D managed to narrowly block an attempt by the right to cut vital EU funds to NGOs fighting for climate action and the environment. We keep up the pressure as the EU Commission cannot backtrack on its support for these organisations.

Putin invaded Ukraine because he wants to wipe that sovereign, democratic country off the map. He said so. The moral clarity is absolute: you support the victim of aggression and condemn the dictator. Doing the opposite makes you part of the problem, not the solution.
