We are holding the Annunciation community in our hearts. But we know love and grief are not enough. Gun violence is the leading cause of death for kids in America, and that reality just shattered another community.

That lie — that we can “harden” schools into safe zones — is what politicians sell us so they don’t have to give up the blood money they take from gun lobbyists.

The only thing that will stop gun violence is leaders who love our kids more than they love their guns.

We will not live in a country that executes children in schools and churches. We will not accept their cowardice. We demand action. And we will not stop until the killing ends.

A parent called it evil. They’re right. But let’s be clear: this isn’t just evil — it’s policy. It’s the direct result of people in power cashing checks from the gun industry while our kids are murdered. They know children are dying. And they choose it anyway.

If Bondi really cared about our communities, she would use the powers of her office to hold the gun lobby accountable for the gun crimes they cause.
