Maybe women are just inherently better and men are too emotional to have complex jobs?
Young women are now consistently earning more than their male counterparts for the first time, according to a report that warns of a social “crisis” gripping young men

They will always be hellbent on pushing women out of the flight deck.

Feb 15th is Flag day in Canada. This year also marks its 60th anniversary. Happy flag day to the True North, strong and free 🇨🇦

I’m in a pretty substantive Facebook group where people share memes related to the Canadian armed forces. Most of these people are either veterans or currently serving. Some of Poilievre’s posts are shared there and he’s getting ransacked in the comments.

Your wallet is your biggest loudspeaker. Reject Teslas 🙂‍↔️
"Musk’s stake in Tesla comprises the lion’s share of his wealth. He can laugh off a few protesters, but if consumers launch a sustained boycott, both Musk and his car company could find themselves in dire straits."
Don’t Buy a Tesla. Sell Your Tesla. Refuse a Tesla at the Rental Counter. Yes—It Will Help.
Elon Musk’s car company is in a precarious spot.

While the conservatives consistently trail in these polls, the broader picture is that the Canadian pride has not been this high in my lifetime. L’union fait la force et ça fait chaud au cœur de voir un pays se serrer les coudes faces à l’adversité.

This includes:

90% of Liberals
79% of Greens
68% of New Democrats

I feel like we’re 30 weeks away from having the national guard policing the Mason-Dixon line.
The US DOT says it's planning to prioritize areas with high marriage & high birth rates for funding.

Our new analysis @urbaninstitute.bsky.social shows this would disproportionately fund:
—Communities with a higher white resident share
—Low-density areas
—High-income areas
—Car-dependent areas
DOT’s Plan to Distribute Funding by Birth and Marriage Rates Would Leave Communities Most In Need Behind
If enacted, the new US Department of Transportation memo would prioritize funding to whiter, higher-income, more car-dependent areas over communities of color and people who walk, bike, or take public...

It’s wild that Musk delayed California’s high speed rail project by more than a decade and now he’s ripping through the US’ transportation funding. It’s not like the car focused infrastructure is in great shape to begin with too.

We’ve always known that these companies were opportunistic with their support to marginalized groups, but this is such a slap in the face. 2015 wasn’t that long ago and yet it feels like lifetimes have passed.
