Counterpoint: The first few seasons of AGoT were both amazing TV and allowed me to experience a great fandom and make friends with people I would have never otherwise encountered. I hope TKot7K gives me both of those, even if it is not quite as good as the book.

My eldest (18) has let me know that it depended on which sport they were playing as to whether it not classes were mixed or single gender. No time to get into the specifics with him, but I assume the more physical contact sports (rugby, football) were single sex, but that’s just a guess

I’m a UK person and yes we had split PE classes when I was at school (ages 11-16). From 17-18 classes were mixed. But that was a long time ago - I’ll have to check with my kids to see what happens now.

As well as this, there was no real hurry for the Imperials - they figured the Death Star was safe from any attack the Rebels could make, right up to the last minute analysis that identified a slight vulnerability

Me too! Still the very best of Star Wars although I think S1>S2 (only just). I will need to rewatch S2 again in the near future.

I fully understand and support your decision, but man this hurts 💔. Thanks for everything you did with ASOM, it provided me with a lot of fun and laughter over the years, and it was the catalyst for me joining the wider ASOIAF community. Love always ❤️
