100 years ago, the world’s leading tech mogul Guglielmo Marconi aligned himself with fascist dictator Benito Mussolini. I published this after Trump’s first victory, as a cautionary note to the denizens of Silicon Valley. Sadly, it’s even more relevant today.

I was recently in Paris, where nearly every elementary school has a plaque commemorating its Jewish students who were deported during the Nazi occupation. We will eventually see similar plaques on immigrant shelters in the US.
