OK, follower nation, a quick question: I'm strongly considering leaving X for BlueSky but it will take time to make the full jump (I have 64 followers here - 100K+ on X). In the meantime, is it a bad look to cross post? How important is it (if at all) to do unique content here vs what i post on X

Startup progress is not continuous. it moves at geologic pace. Not that it takes millions of years - but that 99% of progress happens in 1% of time in "major" events (landslides, floods, etc) separated by long periods of calm. If you are stuck, gentle steady pressure will usually pop you loose.
