This night there was some beautiful airglow and perfectly still water at 11,000 feet. Looking back at earlier images this time of year as Milky Way core season ends is always bittersweet.

ISS transiting the sun with hazy, horrible seeing conditions and the sun only 16 degrees above the horizon. About as bad as it gets and I don’t care - it’s always fun and amazing to see!
