I love buying your zines and leaving them by a table at the office. Everyone enjoys them.

The truth is, biking is dangerous to pretty much all of our most oppressive political systems. So to suppress it, we make biking artificially dangerous to riders — we don't build the bike paths, we spread lies about how much they'll cost us, we stigmatize this basic, democratic form of movement.

It would cost *minuscule* amounts of money and lost driving time to put a bike path on every single dangerous road in your city, at least relative to how much you're already spending on car infrastructure. But they won't do it because they recognize that *everything would change if they did.*

Same thing happened to me when I bought the X3 — it's fine, we don't need to always be up-to-date with the tech hamster wheel.

Funny enough I love Rust because it gives me a lot of things they complain about in this post. A sane build system, strong backwards compatibility, doesn’t waste system resources, etc.

There is a (usually unintended) side effect of street parking — it effectively narrows the road and serves as a traffic calming, if sideways. There are, of course, much better way to achieve this, but just eliminating parking might actually make roads more dangerous.
