I just wish there were more options for left-side keypad keyboards, so it doesn't get between the important keys and the mouse.

You don't need to make the project C++ based, it automatically converts the blueprint project to a C++ project when you add your first C++ class.
Having it be C++ from start uses the C++ version of the starter content, making it harder to expand for people without C++ knowledge.

There are also settings to increase the number of workers, giving them more threads.
NumUnusedShaderCompilingThreads=0
ShaderCompilerCoreCountThreshold=12 (change to your thread count)
PercentageUnusedShaderCompilingThreads=0
WorkerProcessPriority=1 (1=above normal)

Try with x264 or hvec.
If it doesn't work, maybe the path is wrong (could be a packaging issue) so check if the file exists on the path.
Or try a different player, like the Electra player (enable it on the plugin list).

Nothing you said is a requirement in UE5.
If the company makes their game not performant, blame the company, not UE.

There is a trend across the board in companies disregarding optimization, but it just because it doesn't make the game sell more. People continue to buy/play unoptimized gamed.

I wish there was a way to make all nodes have the same header space.
Some have just the title, some have title+description, others have the title on the exec line.

If the header was standardized, they would all align nicely on the top.

Unreal, because it is more complete, feature wise, and gives a well-structured framework to build your games on top of.
I've used a lot of engines, but currently it is hard going back to other engines, they all feel too lacking when compared to Unreal (I don't do 2D, for 2D other engines are better)

You can either increase the limit on itch, or you can decrease the build size to fit the 1gb limit (an easy way it by adjusting texture sizes).

You can add two inputs: "And" and "Or" arrays.

"And" goes the true execution path if all of the items are true, "Or" goes the true execution path if any of the items are true (and thus can return early on the first true).

Yeah, I tend to minmax everything when playing stardew, so watching other people make mistakes really pains me inside.

But at the end of the day it is a casual game, so what matters is having fun.
There really doesn't exist a wrong way to play stardew (except marrying Shane/Haley).

If you want to avoid this, install Windows as a local user instead of using a Microsoft account.

This makes onedrive not log in, so it doesn't create the docs folders inside the onedrive sync folder.
