Things I am all about: affogato, 80s Power Pop, banh mi, listener-powered radio, and urban adventures. Things I am not all about: guns and onions. (She/Her)

Day 6 from surgery. Pros: my swelling and bruising is lessening. Negative: Apple ID doesn’t recognize my face!

Folks are mad that a congresswoman who happens to be trans, read a book to kids. They are convinced that such a reading might have influenced the children into becoming liberal congresswomen from Delaware.

I don’t get folks who say sexuality is rigid and is only set by same, opposite or both sex attraction. You don't believe people have the right to determine their own sexuality? Do we need to go before some sort of council to have our sexuality certified? What if we don't receive certification?

Today I learned that the song O.P.P. by the rap group Naughty by Nature is definitely not about other people's puppies.

Unpopular opinion: TERFs are the biggest purveyors of trans fetish porn.

I don't condone cheating, but I think this couldn't have happened to a more suitable woman. Her daily obsession with trans people probably drove him to cheat.

American chef and writer Anthony Bourdain said that the saddest meal he ever ate was at Johnny Rockets. Question. Do you think saddest meal is above or below worst meal?

If you show me an anti-trans gay man, I will show you a hardcore misogynist.

Astrology question. Why does everyone hate Cancers? Is it because we have our own awareness month?

Every time I needed to make an adult decision this week, I took a minute to say the great powers/great responsibility line before making my final choice. Needless to say, pretty sure there are two baristas and a bartender that are under the impression that I think I am Spiderman.

People tell me that Portland is very LGBTQIA-inclusive, but why is there a Gay Avenue and not a Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual, or Plus Avenue?

If TikTok’s algorithm knows what you are before you do, then why is it showing me Irish election results? Does TikTok think I am moving to Ireland?

I am in Seattle, and like always, it feels like home. I wrote that on Saturday night after spending time in the U-District (my first Seattle neighborhood). As much as Portland has grown on me over the last few years, I am definitely still a Seattle apologist.
