Considering I have been passing a dead bear cub on my street the last few days, I am pretty sure I do. Actually the problem is the assumption that animals have no rights, and instead of dealing with the cause of the problem, people, it's easier to kill the animals. Move on buddy.

Something is attracting them. If there is access to food, remove it. You can toss ammonia soaked rags up on the carport when they aren't there. Get an airhorn and give them a blast(from inside, of course). Make it less comfortable. Having people coming and going would make it less attractive as well

You need to look for a solution that doesn't involve killing innocent critters just trying to survive habitat destruction/disturbance. Deal with the people causing the problem.

My son was out in the woods here. He knew the rules. The problem is really that their habitats are being built on by people who then think they have the right to destroy them. The problem here is not bear, coyotes and foxes. It's people. Even in NYC we had raccoons as big as dogs.

Probably. My crowd is just plain nuts. No really progressive thinking at all. Except for the sister who died a few years back. The rest aren't worth talking to. My Irish cousins are a little better. I don't know how open Mom's mind was, but my dad? Archie Bunker had nothing on him at his worst.

Amazing, isn't it? And it can't all be on the way you were raised, or how your own parents are, because my people were not, and never became better people. My mom didn't live long enough, but maybe she would have. She never said a hateful word in her life. I never wanted to be them.
