We saw ours in southern Colorado too. Some in our backyard in town and some on the outskirts by CSU.
Our daughter saw them faintly in central Arkansas; too many trees though to take a good picture.

We could just barely see them where I live. It was mostly a pink glow on the horizon, the camera picked up more colors. Probably would have seen more without light pollution 🙄 🤷‍♀️
But 3 generations of our family got to experience them together in one night!!! 🥰
