Today I was adopted. Surrendered at birth to the State, 3 months in their custody. What a trip. The moral of the story? It is really hard learning too look like your parents. BUT when you track down all those BIRTH people, it sure as hell explains a lot.

The absolute JOY seeing countless fur friends images & learning their names. Some are obvious choices, a fur pattern, a physical attribute, but some hint at how the cat arrived & some the personality of the cat & how his family views him/her. Example: ZaZa = a haughty, self-possessed Persian Diva.

This day, 8 yrs ago my mom passed 8 days short her 101st birthday. I cancelled her cake. A strange action, proving how life flips on a dime. SO my takeaway? Live IT every day. Live whatever IT is that gives you something, means something, stay in the nano second. That is all any of us actually have.

ART is a subjective thing, out & about. Found a HOOTERS out of business, a portion of their sign was crumpled & by the dumpster. It spoke to me. I see potential, I see design, an image, a use, in every damn thing. I will repurpose what was gleaned from the trash & give it new life....ART is life.
