3️⃣ Papers that have tried to evaluate policy solutions, and the problem that we are still facing, especially social desirability bias and the deeply rooted norms and behaviours!

Finally, we discuss the way forward for research! ⏭️

In this paper, we review:

1️⃣ The existing data that can be used to measure sexual harassment, especially in the US, UK and in France

2️⃣ The literature in economics that shows that sexual harassment hurts victims, but also society as a whole by participating to higher occupational segregation,

And to close our first session in the morning, Rachel Ngai presented her impressive work on hours of paid and unpaid work of women in the US, including data from the 19th century! With a great discussion from Cecilia García Peñalosa 📈📉
