an art therapy project inspired by VP Harris’s speech in Phoenix
This picture is a collage of the orange authoritarian, mocking him, made from political cartoons and images I altered by moving his head. There’s a drawing of my foot stepping on him because I’m angry. I wrote on my shoe “fuck off” and “this machine kills fascists” which is what Woody Guthrie would write on his guitar. You can see nazis in the States marching and pictures from the January 6th insurrection. As well as quotes about how other people cannot understand what they see in him that they think is so good. This is part 1 of my project. This image is the second part of my project. I took what I made in image one and imposed pictures of yellow flowers, yellow butterflies, and Vice President Harris. They are all symbols of hope and sunshine. I also placed by collection of “I Voted” stickers from the past few years.
