This is completely unworkable and an administrative nightmare. Just hold the line and fund the subsidies!!

I’ve been to a number of the American cemeteries in Europe and I’m so grateful to the countries that have shown such respect to our soldiers. Thank you for all this information.

Thank you for supplying the mechanism to complain. I did. My dad was a WWII vet and fought in the European theatre. He is rolling over in his grave at the lack of respect for WWII vets.

Yup. Last week had to spend the night in DFW because of a flight and maintenance delay. Didn’t get home until next day when friends were coming to spend the night.

Multiple orders for 12 PT sessions. Then they would only approve 2 of them because he wasn’t getting better as described in their Optum white paper. I quoted their own paper back to them and they finally approved a whole raft of therapy. Medicare Advantage. We’re getting some paid now.

I’m sorry for your experience. I recently wrote a letter of appeal to a well-known insurance company. They denied PT for a relative because he wasn’t getting “better.” He’s had Parkinson’s for 17 years. Amazingly, they approved his services the other day. But, it is a game to them.
