This isn't to say I think platform fighting games that aren't smash bros are bad. I think there's so much room for experimentation with video games as a whole, and it's excitingly apparent when a game has thoughtful intention behind its core concept (3/3)

Why was break the targets created? Why does the character select screen use a cursor? These choices are made with intention beyond replicating an existing game, even though existing games inspire the choices that are made (2/3)

Case in point: a Black, trans, disabled person cofounded a mask bloc, then their "comrade" helped force them into houselessness. In the year that's followed the Black cofounder has been (among many other things) harassed by cops a dozen times. This too is eugenics.
