We’re screwed. The Democratic establishment is still playing pre-2010 politics when the entire foundation has changed after citizens united and the Russian social media propaganda machine. If I hear “optics” one more time I’m going to scream. Get these relics out or I’m not giving dems a dime.

I disagree. We need more people expressing this is not normal. Slotkin’s remarks were too normal. I had a boss recently who was so mean, but once I started pushing back raising a fuss, it’s like she respected that. We can’t be nice or normal or care about optics. Been there, done that, it’s 911 now.

Germans and other Europeans have far right groups but society as a whole isn’t brainwashed with American-type propaganda and media ecosystem. They’re currently fighting musk and his meddling with their politics. That climate is going to show up on base to some degree. They see more clearly there.

It’s a good start and I use it all the time. but it only measures campaign contributions. There’s still so many things to consider as well… DE&I commitments for one.

Interestingly, Venmo has a positive score on “Goods Unite Us”. It’s so hard to figure out where to spend money in a responsible way.

McDonalds is rolling back efforts, this is flowery language. Eliminating aspirational representation goals, removing “diversity” and only focusing on “inclusion” and eliminating supplier diversity program IS rolling back and capitulating to activists/administration, no matter what they say.
