There are some really impressive works in there. Dad didn't win any prizes, but we're in the exhibition, so there is that.

Dad's not for sale. I think Dad fancies my painting for himself! 🤭

That's so kind of you, dear lady! Thank you for the support. 🙏🏽🥰

Thank goodness for people like Scott who dedicate their lives to protecting elephants and other endangered animals. He and his team has done a phenomenal job of taking care of these gentle souls.

I didn't like HCB much until I watched the Rose interview with him. Then I understood him better, and how his legendary status was a Magnum fabrication which had little to do with the man himself.

The quality of your photo and the current state of NYC's Chinatown/Little Italy makes this look like old New York City. It looks cooler on camera.

Thank you, Pekka!

Personally, I try not to think too much about how I'm going to get a painting to its finished state. It always seems like an impossible task when I begin!

I'm not sure I do either, Juan! But I'm persistent enough to want a finished painting, even if doing this kind of work makes me want to climb the walls at times! We don't improve unless we push ourselves, right?

Thank you, D! 💜

Thank you, Juan!

It'll be easier to make adjustments to the contrast in colours and tones once the first layers of paint dry. Doing this alla-prima requires not making the paint I put down muddy by accidental blending. I have to remember to breathe too! 😁

Poor soul. Rest in peace, Pupy. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm sorry for you too, Shiboof.

Good grief!

That's just terrifying. That must have been something to see - flooded sand! Insane!

That must have been an intense experience!

I've experienced a number of these close range strikes. The last one hit the junction box right outside our condo a few years back and fried half of our electrical system. It was so loud too! After that, I won't mind if I never experience one again.

I've experienced a few of those. Gulp.
