Just watched the film Official Secrets and I’m so saddened how governments cover up. I’m thinking in a few years there will be a similar film regarding Israel/Palestine.

Beautiful and yes I think we do get more emotional and nostalgic as we get older. We have experienced loss which thankfully we may not have experienced when we were younger. If we were are lucky, we have many happy memories to look back on.

I agree but I can’t get out of my head the quote she used about Jeremy Corbyn. “I would knife Jeremy Corbyn in the front not the back if he damages the party”.

I’m also a red rose and moved to West Yorkshire 45 years ago. My Lancashire family/friends say I have a Yorkshire accent and my Yorkshire friends tell me I have a Lancashire accent. Both feel like home

My dad died Christmas Eve 2006 feels like yesterday every Christmas. Mum was in the same hospital having major surgery for stomach cancer and never got to see him. I don’t think I can ever get over the sadness but I try to remember all our positive times. I feel your grief Reece xx
