It is making my heart so eternally happy that my cat is actively choosing to cuddle up w my girlfriend on the couch instead of me who's alone in the bed ❤️ this cat has hated nearly everyone ive brought home aside from a couple friends, till now.

My staff is too sweet 🫶😭

I told my staff we got permissions from above to dress in holiday wear vs our uniform for the 4th and aprox half of them asked if we could wear black like it’s a funeral instead.

I made a bunch of new things this week! First up is tofu deli slices for some Italian sammies, salmon salad sandwiches, carrot cake baked oats w a cream cheese “frosting” (it’s mostly cream chz & yogurt), and I made my own gf rosemary focaccia bread!

I have officially, and completely unintentionally, taught my cat to respond to parts of the chorus from sweet Caroline because I started singing it as “sweet jellybean” and couldn’t stop 😂

This is where I’ve found her almost every single afternoon for the last couple of weeks, I think she’s only a little teensy bit happy I can finally open my windows 🥹

I feel like I stepped out the door & into the twilight zone today. I kicked off the morning giving tornado shelter instructions to a room of panicking college kids, then 45 mins before close (hrs after the storm) the power goes out, & now my apt building doors are having tech issues & wont open 🙃

Got my wisdom teeth out & this how im looking making my pharmacy run. Thinking of titling it:
“the barista becomes the drink”

It’s really bugging me that when i reached out to my bank via chat today to ask about their plan of action to keep their members’ info secure with all Musk is doing…and it censored his name

This is a private company taking over a federal agency, with no authority to do so. Why does anyone think their rights are being protected? “Two top security officials at the independent agency were removed after they refused access to” Musk employees. This is gone past “unprecedented.”

I’m still checking fb notifs rn in case people are having issues finding me on alt social platforms & I get on today to see that fb oh so kindly made me an event for leaving meta platforms 💀😂 idk why it’s the funniest thing I’ve seen, feels like a gentle middle finger lowkey
