This is Spring Break in your 40s: working from the vacation condo while the kids are on screens all day. But somehow it’s all okay because the unexpected snow is so beautiful.

A friend of mine passed away on Friday & his celebration of life is tomorrow in Hawaii. At sunset tonight in Oahu, I felt both thankful that I could be on island to celebrate his life & so sad that my visit wasn’t sooner. RIP, Dan.

It’s that time in the semester: planning for ALL the classes, which means ALL the beverages.

Went to the beach this week for a small family reunion & it was everything I needed to feel rejuvenated. Sand, sun & water is healing. I need to remember that.
