I’m already in a bad mood when I have to go to the Job centre, & seeing all the AI generated posters about seasonal work opportunities & disability support made me furious. But then I was called MISS ALLITT…and my claws came out!!!

Literally every time the news reports on the actions of ‘the Queen’ my brain goes: ‘how? She’s dead. How can she have said or done that thing?’
Which I guess is my brain’s way of refusing to accept Camilla as Queen

Genuinely interested in some good insight on this & welcome reading recs: why don’t people talk to each other anymore?
Is it late-stage capitalism & hyper individualism (there’re companies & apps for finding friends now)? Is it inevitability of age? Is it a consequence of Covid etc? Result of tech?
