House of Capet - Viva le Roi!

France once cried for liberty, now she rebuilds the slave trade under an emperor’s command. The Revolution claimed to fight "tyranny", yet the power has merely shifted. How easily they forget their own words: that all men are born free.

It is not possible for Brits to win a war agains the mighty kingdom of France. We let them win the war out of pettiness from them and their colonies' jealousy over our might and control. (2/3)

Today I met Monsieur Franklin, his manners are simple, his popularity immense. The court thinks he adorns a curious fashion for such an important man! His personality hides his true intention: to win France as an ally and gain support. I fear he succeeds all too well🧐.

The US published their declaration of independence. Although I am happy our aid has weakened England💪. My subjects may adopt ideas, they don't see the importance of having an absolute monarchy. If they act on these revolutionary ideas I expect the same assistance we provided to the U.S.

We have been sending the U.S aid for their rebellion. Their aim of which I find extremely dangerous but it weakens an important rival 🇬🇧. We have sent supplies, arms, uniforms, and troops and naval support 💣🚢. My husband, king Louis XVI, intends to continue doing so.
