Naturally, when I heard that Facebook took legal action to prevent the author from promoting her book, I immediately bought a copy. Now I’ve finished it and…wow. Eye opening. This might be the most aptly titled book in history.

From here on out, I will be saying, “It matters to me a cucumber,” at every possible opportunity. Because it’s important to keep your spirits up when it feels like the carrots are cooked.

@feriegrove.bsky.social is a good sister. So good that I have decided to forgive her what came to be known as “the soft serve ice cream cone incident” that occurred when I was 8. Love you, Sis!
What kind of books do you like? My go to for fantasy is Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. If you like historic fiction or women's lit @mariebostwick.bsky.social might be your cup of tea. Anxiously awaiting release of her Book Club for Troublesome Women

I’m loving this book so, so much. It’s poetry, and blessing, and altogether exquisite. I read one a day, savoring it like that single Hershey kiss you allow yourself in the weeks before you 25th high school reunion when the outfit you plan to wear almost-but-not-quite fits.

Well, my sister, @feriegrove.bsky.social said I'd better get over here so here I am. Very much hoping that this will be a kinder social media space, and that I will actually be able to see the feeds of people I've chosen to follow.
