It was brilliant to speak at a roundtable on Women’s Health during Labour Conference in Liverpool.

Women’s health, including for disabled women, has always been overlooked, under-researched, and under-funded. Women are too often not listened to, dismissed, and left to suffer alone.

I thoroughly enjoyed speaking on the Youth Town Hall Panel at this year’s Labour Conference.

This fantastic event was hosted by the Fair Education Alliance, Education Policy Institute, Child Poverty Action Ground and EY Foundation, about all things education and engaging young people in politics.

This place is so special to me. My dad, John Tidball, helped to found Barnsley College later serving as Vice-Principal..

So sad to hear of the passing of Barnsley’s own Dickie Bird.

A true legend of cricket, Dickie never forgot his roots and brought pride to his hometown, and to all of Yorkshire.

On behalf of our community in Penistone & Stocksbridge, my thoughts are with his family and friends.

I’m so proud that both Penistone and Stocksbridge are Fairtrade towns, and would encourage everyone to get involved locally!

It was fantastic to meet with our Labour South Yorkshire Mayor, Oliver Coppard, and Leader of Sheffield City Council, Cllr Tom Hunt, earlier this week to discuss reinstating the SL1 tram link bus.

The SL1 is an absolute lifeline for people to get to work, school, and to see family and friends.
