De VS speelt met levens door abrupte bevriezing van internationale samenwerking en terugtrekking uit de WHO. WHO lidstaten overwegen opties, o.a. verlagen van haar begroting, wat grote risico's met zich meebrengt. Wat kunnen Nederland en andere landen doen? Zie onze opinie in de Volkskrant.
De drastische besluiten van president Trump m.b.t. de WHO, buitenlandse hulp en USAID, brengen acuut miljoenen mensenlevens in gevaar. Nederland en de EU moeten serieus tegenwicht bieden en bijdragen aan het dichten van de gaten.

Het moederbedrijf van fast fashion-winkels als Zara, Bershka en Pull&Bear belooft al vele jaren ‘leefbare lonen’ voor de mensen die onze kleding produceren. Toch maakt het bedrijf er geen geld voor vrij. Wij laten in tien grafieken zien waar de winst wel naartoe gaat.
