Not sure I’ve ever seen such a ‘beaten before the game starts’ performance from Liverpool. They look absolutely shot to pieces, and completely terrified of anything that City do. Couldn’t be more disappointed in them

You get a gift like that Kerkez goal and come out completely and utterly flat for the first 15 of the 2nd - you deserve everything you get. Horrible to watch this team.

Slot was furious after the Forest defeat for most of the season last year. He seems almost completely apathetic to defeats and poor performances this year in post match interviews. I know he’s not Klopp but I’d like to see a bit more of an emotional reaction to this mess

Not sure I’ve ever seen us so devoid of ideas of how to attack and create chances in a game. We look so so disjointed. Almost look like they’re boring themselves. This is not in any way a quick fix. Going to be a long season
